Intern Program Grants!

We are proud to announce that we have received grants for our 2015 intern program from The Idaho Community Foundation provided through the Perc H. Shelton and Gladys A. Pospisil Shelton Foundation Advised Fund and from the Whittenberger Foundation. We would be unable to operate without our interns and are very grateful to these organizations that have so generously funded our program.

Raptor Flight Cage Fund

As of Spring 2015, we have enough funds to get started on the rebuild of our large raptor flight cage. The original flight cage burned down in the flood of 2010 that sparked a fire from a dislodged propane tank. Rebuilding is a huge undertaking and we are very grateful to the individual donors and grantors who are making it possible. Stay tuned for progress!

Snowdon Particpates in Fur for the Animals Campaign

Thanks to Born Free USA and their "Fur for the Animals" campaign, these baby squirrels are nice and warm in their fur nest!

"Fur for the Animals" is a donation drive that collects fur coats and hats and then donates them to rehabilitation facilities (like Snowdon!) to comfort orphaned and injured wildlife. More than 100 fur coats and hats previously collectedhave gone to comfort injured young wildlife around the country.

Snowdon was the recipient of several large boxes of fur for our animals. As you can see, these fur pieces offer natural comfort to our injured and orphaned wildlife.
