Happy Holidays, All! 2015 has been such a great year and we appreciate the support of each and every one of you! Snowdon is completely dependent on donations from the public to provide food and care for the wildlife and on small grants for special projects. We only have one paid staff member – the rest of the work is done by volunteer power.
The December newsletter, “Critter Chatter” is now available for download. This issue is, for the most part, dedicated to the orphaned bear cubs in our care at this time of year. Although a couple of the cubs are now hibernating at least part time, the remaining cubs still go through about 100 pounds of dry dog food each day!
If you can find it in your heart to make a small, tax-deductible donation, it would be greatly appreciated. $10 will provide a fawn’s formula for about a week or a day’s food for 2 bear cubs. We also participate in programs that are “less painless: than donating cash: for example, you can donate your excess Ridley’s grocery points, or make a purchase through Amazon Smile at no cost to you (Amazon donates 5% of your purchase price to us!). Online donations can be made through PayPal or Just Give directly from our website, or checks can be mailed to Snowdon Wildlife Sanctuary at P.O. box 2004, McCall, ID 83638. Thank you for your support!
